Friends, I know its been a minute but life has been kickin the kids ass, just a bit. I had to throw down my two cents on this Henry Gates vs the Havard Police. Its simple ladies and gentlemen. Just ask the man for his identification and no prob right? Should be how it goes but not in america because we use no common sense. It almost seems as if theres nothing "common" about common sense because its uncommon for people to posses it. They say a neighbor across the street made the call and of course she doesnt want to be reached for comment on the situation. If she had some common sense she could made the effort to take a closer look and see that it was her, across the street, neighbor trying to get in his house. What type of person sits in the house, never meeting or seeing the neighbors around them. Even if you dont know them personally, you've definitley seen them coming and going right? Or is it that evertime you're outside their never outside and visa versa. Then on top of that, you never look out the window and see them cutting the grass, cleaning the gutters, raking the leaves, and see that a black dude lives there? Whatever man. Smoke on this too. If this lady is the type to call the po's when he was tryna get it the swelled door she prolly was all in when he was movin in the crib in the first place. She had to see his blackness then, right.
Any who, on to the cop and the rest of his cop buddies. They want an apology. Well so does Henry Gates. All they had to do was look at his id and see the info and he could have been golden. No Probs, just a misunderstanding. Instead my mans ended up cuffed and stuffed. True they say that he got all upset when the police came and the police report backs that up. But, who wrote the police report? The Cop. Who does he report to? Another Cop. They're all buddies and have each others back and can write whatever they want in their police reports. Now everyone is pissed at President Obama for stating the obvious which is, "the police acted stupidly". What else is it then? And someone tell Bill Cosby to sit his ass down. lol. Hes critiziing Obama for speaking out on the entire matter. Imma stop watchin the Cosby re runs in a min. lol
